Last Friday the Endeavor crew rolled down to the massive EA Sports headquarters in Burnaby, BC to deliver some special project boards that we built in the Archetype lab. The board are to promote EA’s latest snowboard release, SSX an they wanted to produce something more special then a run-of-the-mill beer board, so they selected Endeavor to hand-build them right here in Vancouver.

It was amazing to finally get to see the creative space that has produced such iconic video games as the FIFA, NHL and SSX series. This place was legit, complete with an indoor basketball court, full-sized weight gym, arcades, store, it’s own restaurant, movie theatre, and motion capture studio. Outside there was another basketball court, beach volleyball court, and full size soccer field with a view of the North Shore mountains.

EA has a massive collection of new and old, very old games and we found Scott Serfas favourite game growing up.

Lots of places were off limits due to certain high-profile guests being on-site, but all-in-all we were blown away by the corporate culture that promotes such an incredible work-lifestyle balance. Thanks again to Ian and Pierce, and EA Sports for having us.

Fusion BBQ in Japan

Our good friends and distributors in Japan had their annual event “FUSION GARDEN” in Okutadami Ski Field. Fusion Gathered most of their Endeavor/AIRHOLE team, dealers and customers for a weekend of food, ridding and beer. Fusion also continue to help fundraise for Tsunami/Earthquake with this event.
(All of this events income will be donated to help disater victims)

I wanna go next year…This looks fun.

Tahoe has seen a bit of a British invasion over the past few winters, with some of our best riders choosing to hone their skills in the perfect park at Northstar. When the resort hosted an open rail jam recently, it was therefore no surprise to see a few of the Grindhouse crew representing… But who’d have thought an American comp could be so comprehensively dominated by UK riders?! 3rd place: Will Smith; 2nd place: Andy Nudds; 1st place: Matt Macwhirter. Boom! And yes, all three learned to ride on the infamous Yorkshire plastic of Halifax. Proof – if any more were needed – that our limited geography has actually helped the UK spawn some world class rail riders.
